The Adventures Continue!

Earlier in the month, Ellen and I went out with our teaching credential cohort friends.  We went to Chevy's for Margaritas and Mexican food! Ellen enjoyed the Margaritas more than the food! Here she is with our good friend Kristy!

Shelby and Ellen and a giant Margarita!

Here is most of the wonderful future teachers of California...and Ellen! Needless to say, we're all amazing!

Ellen and I went back at it a few weeks ago! We went to our favorite bar to see the Joshua Paige Band who was in town.  Of course we met up with the other gals and met new and old fans of ours.

Ellen was sneaking up on me and James' hug.  It got very awkward for a minute.

Ellen loves getting close to the stage.

Yee-haw!!

Every time we go to TK, we run into so many people who want my dreams to come true! It's nice to know that there are a lot of wonderful people in the world!

As we were cooling off outside, we ran into a wonderful woman who told me she had written into Ellen that very same day to tell her about her story.  The woman had gone through a rough spot in her life, but everyday she would sit down and watch Ellen with her daughters and it made everything better for that hour of their lives.  I was truly touched by the woman's story because that is my intention with Ellen! I want to bring happiness to people's lives through carrying around my Ellen head! Hopefully one day soon Ellen will see me with Ellen and I will be able to brighten her day.

WARNING!! This part of the blog is for adult eyes only!!
So..Funny story! The teacher I work with in my Kindergarten classroom this semester for the credential program is a HUGE Ellen fan just like me and she has actually been to the show multiple times.  She sent me these pictures of a student's work from last year when they were painting turkeys.  She knows I am a huge fan, so she gave me permission to send the pictures to Ellen in hopes that she will show them on the show.  So... here are the pictures that led up to the final turkey painting! I hope you enjoy!

Good news...I have requested tickets to the Ellen show for January!! Hopefully I will get the tickets, and I will be able to take my 3 main ladies to see the real life Ellen! Please keep your fingers crossed for me and repost the blog to spread the love!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

September Adventures

Ellen has made her comeback in the Sacramento Area! One of her first nights back from Oki, we went to our favorite place in Folsom...The Toby Keith Bar!! It was our good friend Chris' birthday and our friend Lauren was celebrating her birthday too! We met some fans and Ellen got kisses!

Our next adventure was at Sac State during one of the first weeks at school.  We have a new PRIDE Center on campus, so we went in to say hi! We met some wonderful people who work there!

Finally, a few weeks ago, we went to a concert called Aftershock that had lots of rock bands and hardcore fans! There were a few highlights... First, we got a shout-out from the 80's Parody Rock Band, Steel Panther.  The lead singer pointed us out of the crowd and announced her appearance which was awesome because there were thousands of people there. Second, one of my favorite bands, Skillet, was playing and as we were "rockin" out, the guitar player broke character and started giggling after seeing Ellen flying high in the air above the crowd.  It was great to make people laugh and smile.

Hooters girls like Ellen!

Fans all around

Please continue sharing my blog or pictures with your friends, so that I can meet Ellen soon! I have been doing the blog for a little less than a year, so it would be great if I could get a little more talk about the blog!

Oh the places we went....

Hey everyone! I sincerely apologize for the delay in blog postings, but I have finally set aside a chunk of time to get this blog complete so Ellen and I can go on with our wonderfully exciting lives.  This blog includes every picture I took of Ellen except for the time we went to the One Republic Concert and the Japanese Shuri Castle because those pictures are in another blog.  Unfortunately, I couldn't take Ellen everywhere because she and water didn't agree and I went to a lot of places that were near the water because..well...I was on an island! But ok enough about me talking...Here are all the adventures that Ellen and I went on!!

Waiting for our first flight to LAX from SF

Lots of people wonder how I get Ellen on the plane and if I buy her a ticket. Fortunately, I always seem to get a window seat, so she sits by the window next to me.  Because she is a vegan she is very thin and fits comfortably next to me!

Overall, me and Ellen had an incredible time in Okinawa, Japan and we were so blessed to go all around the Island and make people laugh, point or just question why Ellen was in Japan.  I hope one day the real Ellen can see that she went to Japan and made people laugh, so please re-post the blog to show your friends and make them laugh! I am continuing my journey with Ellen and I will be bringing her into the classroom this semester because the teacher I am working with is also a huge Ellen fan! Maybe this will be my lucky year and Ellen will finally see where in the world she has gone! By the way, her 11th season starts on Monday, September 9!!
