Ellen enjoyed the last few days of school hanging with me, Mr. Brandon, and Mr. Chad! She attended the last school dance and learned how to do the Whip and the Nae Nae!
Then, we jetted off to San Diego with Brittain for a lil rest and relaxation! Here is Ellen enjoying some lunch at a little Vietnamese Restaurant!
Later in the week, we went to Dicks where our waitress felt that Ellen was trapped with me!
Apparently my "restraining order" just expired!
Our waitress even wanted a picture with us!
Off to the beach with all of my Ellen gear! It wouldn't be a beach trip without my towels!
On our way out of the city! Ellen enjoyed her time!
On our way home, we stopped by the cockpit to take a peek onto the runway! Also, our lovely flight attendant, Kendra, went to high school with Ellen and, she was so excited to see her again! Ellen, Kendra says hello...She went to school with you at Kings High School in New Orleans!
Then...It was off to see Sam Hunt, Hunter Hayes, and Lady A!! YES... That is Sam's leg/foot!!
Ellen's head was too big for the shot!! Still having fun though!!!

OMG!!! I made it to the jumbo tron!! There was a dance cam, and me and Ellen ran around until the camera guy finally put us on!!
OMG it's Lady A legs!!!
Ellen was so excited to see the Lady A man after he gave her a shout out!! Yes!! They saw us and wondered why Ellen was in attendance...unfortunately, I wasn't able to explain myself in person, so I let them know via Twitter!!
He is so oblivious of the famous person right there!
Ellen has her eye on the main Lady A!!
All throughout the summer, Ellen worked with me at Park Terrace supporting the swim team!
Ellen also won over the heart of Kelly Gray! Kelly loved my stories of me and Ellen, so she made me a mini Ellen who now hangs out in my classroom!!
Mid summer, "The Ellen Girls" made our appearance at the State Fair to see Brett Eldridge!!
One of our last nights out before Julena headed off to school!

We also ventured out to Georgia to drop Julena off at school! Ellen cried all the way home....
Luckily she had Luke to comfort her! Ellen still misses Julena!
Now that Julena was gone, Rachel and I had to find a new blond, so we went to see Cam!! She was lovely and even gave a shout out to Ellen! She said that she knew she had made it big because Ellen was there! We were so happy to make her smile!!
NOW!!! Who knew that Ellen had slot machines!? I did, but I thought they were only in Vegas, so you can imagine my surprise when Brittain and I saw them in Tahoe!
I was ready to play!!
Oh and I was winning big!!
Ellen was giving it away like it was Christmas.....
....then, this happened!!
I was a big winner!!!
Thank you Ellen!! I am $183 richer, and I made enough money to justify all of my classroom spending sprees!!!
I hope everyone had as a good of a summer as I did!! Full of joy, excitement, and relaxation!! Don't forget to watch Ellen everyday this season...starting tomorrow!! I have a GOOD feeling that this is my year to meet here!! Keep sharing the blog and the love!! #getjaniseonellen
